Es soll ja Menschen geben, die extra für die „Frühstückswelle“ am Sonntagmorgen ihr Bett verlassen, um dabei zu sein, wenn es heißt: „Musik nur für Erwachsene“ oder der Moderator ihnen drei Stunden lang „neue und alte Tonträger und Tonträgerinnen“ vorstellt und ans Herz legt.
Es geht um Pop im allerweitesten Sinne, um Musik zur Zeit, um die (zweit)schönste Nebensache der Welt. Zu hören sind unter anderem skandinavische Retrorocker, englische oder amerikanische Gitarrenbands, deutsche Diskurspop-Gruppen, sensible Singer/Songwriter etc. pp.; es gibt Labelporträts, Musikerporträts, Albenvorstellungen und Interviews.
