Wie der Name der Sendung schon vermuten lässt, ist die musikalische Ausrichtung dieser Musiksendung nicht wirklich monothematisch – gespielt werden vielmehr Titel aus dem großen Feld des Independent. Aber auch experimentelles Liedgut kommt in den Mixer und ein heutzutage nur meist noch selten gehörter „historischer“ Song gibt dem Cocktail zusätzlich einen besonderen Geschmack.
